Birthdays suck, but you don't realize it until your alot older. I'll explain.
Your 5 years old. Tons of happy people gather around and give you awsome presents just for living an entire year! Your new favorite holiday! Your mom brings in a super huge cake with your favorite cartoon character on it. Millions of candles are all over it just for you to blow out. You get to play games and stuff your face with cake!
Your 10 years old. You have a slightly smaller party than last year, but thats ok, because you still get to spend it with your family and a few close friends. You get a regular cake with a few yellow icing flowers on it and "Happy Birthday Your Name Here" Scribbled across it and green icing. You get less presents that wern't as great as last years, but still pretty cool.
Your 15 years old. You have no party. Your parents are both working and your stuck babysitting. Your stupid teachers pile you with homework. No friends come over. They tell you happy birthday in school and over Facebook. You still have to do laundry and dishes and clean your room. You get a CD, a couple shirts, a magazine, a $15 itunes card, and a couple of DVD's wrapped in a walmart bag your mom tosses at you as she runs out the door to go to work shouting a quick, "Bye, love you, happy birthday."
Does this happen to anyone else besides me? Please let me know.
